The EQ5 mount is mountet on a massive stainless steel tripod that can carry up to 10 Kg save and without any problems.

Because of the inserted, lighted polarscope the mount can be accurately aligned at the polar star and is perfectly suitable for astrofotography.

The optional available motor with dual-axis-control makes an perfectly accurate adjustment possible.

The mounting plate to attach the tube is compatible to almost every other manufacturer.

Accurate adjustment possibilities of the DEC- and RA-axis are basic conditions for a good mount

Another basic component is a lighted polarscope that is adjustable in the light intensity. This is a must to align the mount properly to the polar star. With this feature the mount is absolutely suitable for astrophotography.
